I enjoyed this book. An interesting take on "first contact" in that it doesn't happen on Earth . Can't wait for part 2 .
Williamson has done a really good job of writing a Sci-Fi page turner, and I'm looking forward to the 2nd book in the spring.

Excellent writing with enough twists and turns to keep you reading. The only bad part is waiting for book 2 to come out.
Hard to put down once I had begun to read and I soon became enthralled and surprised at the tale's twists and turns. I will certainly purchase any succeeding novel.
As a long time science fiction fan, this book was well worth the read. It kept the story line interesting and ended with a cliff hanger that has me waiting for the second installment.
If you have any fears about the future or feel apprehensive about aliens around us, and for anyone who doesn't have a firm belief in a higher being (perhaps you might refer to it as God), read this very carefully. It is written perhaps with a basis in science and maybe science fiction, well written, but for certain readers could cause some sleepless nights.
I really did enjoy this book. If anything it may have dragged on a little, left out some details that may have clarified some of the characters for me, but the story is certainly original and hopefully there is not some intelligence out there that would suddenly appear. I am looking forward to book 2. Once begun I want to know how the adventure ends.
